Privacy Policy
The short version: the brain you build lives in your own Supabase project, and we can't see it. On this site we keep your email, your payment status, your answers to our setup questions, and your chat with the coach. Your chat goes to Anthropic so the AI can reply. We don't sell your data and we don't use ad trackers.
What we don't collect
Anything in your brain. Your thoughts, notes, voice memos, links, videos and PDFs are saved to your own Supabase project, behind locks you set up. We have no access to them. We never ask for your passwords or secret keys, and you should never send them to the coach.
What we collect, and why
- Your account: your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider (Supabase) and stored scrambled; we never see them.
- Payments: Stripe processes your card. We receive your payment status, the amount, and Stripe's reference numbers for you and your subscription. We never see your card number.
- Your setup answers: your computer type, coding experience, which accounts you already have, and the look you chose for your app. The coach uses them to tailor its help.
- Your coaching chat: your messages, the coach's replies, which steps you've finished, and your "vault card" (a short summary of your setup that the coach writes so it can pick up where you left off; it's not supposed to contain passwords or keys).
- Screenshots: when you send one, it goes to the AI with your message so the coach can see what you see. We don't store the image itself, only a note that you sent one.
- Who can see your chat: the people running Thought Process can see your coaching chat. We only look at it to help you when you ask for support, to review a refund request, to fix problems with the coach, or to keep the service safe.
- Usage records: how much each coaching message cost us to run, so we can keep prices fair.
- On your device: your browser keeps you signed in and remembers which stage you were on. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
Who helps us run the service
- Anthropic runs the AI coach. Your messages, screenshots, setup answers and vault card are sent to Anthropic's API to generate each reply, under Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy.
- Supabase hosts our database, sign-in and server functions.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Netlify serves this website.
- Resend sends sign-in and password-reset emails.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your account, answers and chat stay until you delete them. Start this stage over in the coach clears that stage's chat right away.
- If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, answers, chat and progress. We keep anonymous usage records, and Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information by emailing help@thoughtprocess.uk. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have more rights, and we'll honor them.
Security
Our database is locked so each person can reach only their own records, and our keys stay on our servers, never in the website. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password safe and never paste secrets into the chat.
Children
Thought Process is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
